MAIN IDEA: Consistent obedience to God’s will leads to greater victory.
The Israelites’ journey began with God’s divine intervention, showing them that victory would come not by their own strength, but by His power. As they faced the walls of Jericho, God’s unconventional instructions emphasized the importance of obedience. Ultimately, their success was a reminder that God fulfills His promises.
MAIN IDEA:God’s power is what allows us to accomplish His will.
TEXT: God calls Joshua to step out as the new leader and lead Israel into the promised land. Though he is a skilled general of war, it is all together different to be the leader both spiritually and militarily. God affirms Joshua’s call and reassures that His promises weren’t restricted to Moses, but to His covenant to Abraham.
