The fate of the serpent is death and destruction, but the fate of the saints is life eternal. This victory has been accomplished through the work of the slain Lamb. He will receive the reward of His suffering - the worship of all nations. And the serpent is powerless to stop it.

Other humans may break our trust and disappoint us, but Jesus never will. When He returns, He will be seen for who He really is - the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and the President of Presidents. You can trust Him, because He always keeps His promises.

No matter how long the battle, no matter how dark the night, no matter how deep the suffering - in the end, those united to the Lamb will feast as His bride. Tears wiped away. Death defeated. Evil eradicated. Jesus is King.

The once great city of Babylon lays in ruins and the bystanders look on with shock and awe, wondering, "How did we get here?" Revelation reminds us of the answer - there is one Kingdom alone that endures for eternity, the Kingdom of the Lamb.

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."

The dragon takes a people created for the glory of a bride and turns them into a prostitute to be discarded. But the Lamb take prostitutes and sinners and turns them into a glorious and pure bride who He will dwell with forever.

The time for justice has arrived and the seven bowls of God's wrath are poured out. An angel affirms that the judgments of God are fair, equitable, and just. The only undeserving recipients in the story are the saints, who receive the love of God poured out in abundance through His Spirit.

The song of Moses and the Lamb is sung, because the beast has been conquered and deliverance is commenced. The righteous acts of God are revealed to be just and true, and through the work of Jesus, the saints receive His righteous acts as their own.

"The Lord is great and is highly praised; his greatness is unsearchable. One generation will declare your works to the next and will proclaim your mighty acts."

The saints have been told to wait a little bit longer for justice to be had. But now, the time is here. A song of redemption is sung by the saints as they follow the Lamb into victory. But before the season of reaping begins, a gracious summons to repentance goes out to the whole earth.
