It's PGA Championship week, and we take a look at the state of this great major and why I think because of the last five editions this tournament is so greatly underrated. We talk about how the PGA can create its own unique identity going forward, including the addition of some of America's most iconic and prestigious golf courses to add to its rota. With the other three major championships having so clearly their own defined USP, the PGA has a real chance to become "the all rounders" major, where all different types of golfers genuinely have the chance to win. Coupled this with having a true variety of golf courses on its rota, and the PGA has a real opportunity to create an image of itself as the most dynamic, engaging, and competitive major championship.

The second major of the year is finally upon us and we couldn't be more excited! There is lots to talk about, particularly breaking down the newly renovated Oak Hill Country Club East Course. We look at the demands this course will be present, which other courses are good indicators for success, and as a result who we think will have a fantastic chance of being crowned the winner this year. There is also a review of the betting strategy, and a sneak preview into tomorrow's episode of why the PGA has become such an underrated tournament.

The Masters has come and gone, and with that we have a new champion in Jon Rahm! But the success that LIV can take away from this year's Masters is top of my agenda. We reflect on the incredible final day charge from Phil Mickelson, how Brooks Koepka is officially back as a major contender, and will Rory ever be able to crack Augusta? There is also a review of our predictions from last week's preview show with overall a mixed bag of results, and a serious doubt as to whether I'll ever back Patrick Cantlay again.

Part one of our Masters preview

This week we are dedicating the entire episode to talking about the state of LIV Golf. It's no secret that their top stars aren't performing and their tournaments aren't gaining notable PR and media coverage from mainstream sports publications. I put forward my arguments for why this is the case and what needs to happen in the short and long term for LIV to eventually succeed.

As the podcast returns back to its roots of talking about the major issues and topics within the game of golf for the fan that wants to break into the sport, where better to start than by discussing the hugely controversial proposal of rolling back the golf ball. This week golf's governing bodies the R&A and the USGA announced a proposed change that the golf ball will fly a shorter distance for elite tour pros in the biggest tournaments. I discuss what this means for the game of golf both at the pro and amateur level, the support for it, the opposition to it, and my overall thoughts and opinions. This will no doubt be one of the most polarising issues in golf for years to come, and the stakes couldn't be higher!

This week's episode looks back at all things Riviera, Rahm's dominance and his return to the summit of the world rankings. Tiger is back, and while other news caught the headlines, his golf over the four days left all fans smiling. Finally, with the first event of LIV Golf coming up this week, we discuss what success may look like for LIV this year, and the subsequent ensuing challenges they'll have to face in the near future.

As Tiger announces his return to tournament golf, we assess his chances and our own expectations for him this upcoming week. There is also a celebration over a Justin Rose victory, and an appreciation of Scottie Scheffler's brilliance as he makes his way back to the No 1 in the world.
