Thomas Aquinas said that "bad government is better than no government". Yet, all around the world people all long for better government. This will come, for Jesus' followers, when he will rule with perfect heavenly justice, equality, care for the vulnerable, and with peace and joy for all who are accept him as Lord and King. To enter his kingdom, to have citizenship in heaven, we need to place our faith and trust in him, and submit to his Lordship, here and now. "All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). Isaiah prophesied about Jesus' first coming ("For unto us a child is born..." Isaiah 9:6-7) as he spoke about his second coming.
