How can we serve others to lead them to Jesus? Do we sometimes serve others but then leave them where we found them? Do we at times lead people to Christ but then leave them to figure out their faith on their own? Or do we come alongside our brothers and sisters in the world to serve them, lead them to Christ, and help them grow into God's own expectation of what they might become?!

Every Christian has been adopted! You aren't a member of God's family by birth, you aren't a member of God's family by going to church, you aren't a member of God's family by good behavior! The only way to get into God's family is to be adopted by Him!

Do our families look like God's definition of family? Does the Church represent the ideal of God's family? Does your personal relationship with God look like family should? What exactly is a godly family supposed to look like? Do we see evidence of these seven powerful, essential, biblical family values? (Love. Listen. Serve. Share. Recognize. Pursue. Pray.)

What is God's vision for His Church? What does it look like to both love God AND love our neighbor as Christ commands us? How are those two loves related and connected for you, your family, and your local church?

What is the heart of the Chrisian message? How are we each uniquely created to carry it to the world? And who around us is thirsty to drink of the water only Jesus Christ can give?!

Have you ever been discipled? What does that mean to you? Do you know the Bible's definition of disciple, or discipleship? The Bible uses the word "disciple" as an identity word, a noun, a statement that defines someone...does "disciple" of Jesus define you?

Have you ever experienced opposition when you tried to live for God or serve Him in some way? How do we fight that opposition? What can we learn from how Nehemiah faced the opposition to his attempts to serve God?

Do you know why God has you in the job, home, family, country, church that you're in? You are His, and He has plans to use you right where you are! Be ready! Keep your eyes open so you don't miss the opportunity to be used for Him in great ways!

Is our walk with Jesus an ongoing experiment in living by the Spirit or a process of trying to once again add in the same ingredients that have have worked for us in the past? Do we live our faith out as an experiment or as recipe to follow? Do we live by faith? Do we keep in step with the Spirit.

In many ways the Christian Church of America today parallels the state of the people of God back in Nehemiah's day...the walls are broken down and the people are in great trouble and shame. What will it take for God's people today to repent and rise up as powerful examples of God's grace and glory?! Where are the walls of the church broken today and how can we pray for God's help in fixing them?!
