There is a reason for ministry. Believers are all full-time ministers. God's purpose for believers in the world is to reach others for Him. We are considered purposeful letters from God to the rest of the world.

God gave us the message of good news that brings us closer to Himself through a relationship with Jesus Christ. The devil wants us to believe that people don't want to hear anything about God, yet the Bible tells us "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news."
