When we put our faith in the hands of the Lord, there are more things that happen than just a faith of salvation. There is a faith that should continue. But life hits us as well as complacency and we find our faith slowly diminishing. How can we have a faith that endures throughout the tests of time and life? We're going to learn from the faith of Jacob how we can have a faith that endures, even to our last breath.

When God created family, it was all about relationship. Not only were we to relate to one another, but also to relate to God. He wanted to be a part of the family. What happens when the family forgets the value of relationship? Not only with each other, but also with God? We're going to learn that God sent Jesus so that we could once again rediscover what family is all about.

We don't know what the future holds, but we do know who holds the future. God has everything in sight and knows very well what is taking place in the world today, as well as what will take place in the future. We're going to learn how one father's faith, Isaac, was able to bless his two sons, Jacob and Esau.

We use the word greatness to describe the kind of person that has achieved great things. We label sports athletes, famous personalities, innovators and the like with the word greatness. But what does it mean to achieve greatness? Does one have to do something on a grand scale to receive that title? The way the world sees greatness and the way God sees greatness may not be the same all the time. The bible gives us a clear picture of what greatness truly is.

Abraham had the kind of faith that relied on obedience rather than feeling or sight. He obeyed without the answers first. We're going to learn that an obedient faith keeps us moving in God's plan and is the kind of faith God looks for.

Noah kept the faith, even when there was no evidence to do so. There was no rain to be seen in the near future, yet his faith wasn't in what was seen, it was in the unseen.

It is often said that “Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air...but only for one second without hope.” What happens when one loses hope? How do you rediscover hope when it seems all is hopeless? We're going to learn from the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the grave how we can rediscover hope.

This week our honored guest from the Hall of Faith was Enoch. Only 6 verses in the Bible about him but we learn so much from him. He walked with God for 300 years!

When we see the difficulties people go through and what goes on in our families and work environments, we can miss the heart of being in this relationship with Jesus. We can get caught up in the world and lose who we are in Christ. Sometimes we lose our love for the Lord and all we need to do is rediscover Jesus.
