Following along as Pastor Hilda talks about Jesus being our foundation.  Scripture references include:  Matthew 7:24-26; 1 Corinthians 3:11; and Psalm 119:105.  A wise man hears the Word and does it being able to stand firm when the storm comes.  No foundation can be laid other than that of Jesus Christ.  Joshua 1:8-9 tells us to meditate o the Word of God day and night then our way will be prosperous.  Philippians 4:19 reminds us we can do "all things through Christ who strengthens us." God wants a willing and obedient vessel.   A practical call for us today is to get into His Word consistently.  Read the chapters for the day and dig deep.  Do more than surface level reading.  Get your concordance  all allow God's word to change you.  Come to church hungry for the Word and  expectant.  

 Pastor Hilda speaks today about Building on "The" Foundation, the foundation of Jesus Christ. 

Do you want to build your foundation on rock or sand?  

God promises to be with you through hardship.

Pastor Hilda concludes with 2 Timothy 2:15.  We must Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed.  

Be diligent in the Word.  Diligence means regular time in the Word, not once or twice a week.
