Being a leader, in my case a school leader, is not always lovely, as it comes with its challenges. The responsibility of school improvement requires balancing many tasks such as, managing conflicts, handling limited resources, improving practices, supporting the school community, and navigating policy changes... just to name a few. Despite the demanding nature of leading a school, effective school leaders matter because they can create positive change that impacts their school community.
