But none of it was working.

I knew I couldn’t continue to repeat the same cycle with different men. 

Something had to change. 

I decided in that moment that I was going to finally work on healing my own wounds and work on myself, so that I could experience a beautiful and fulfilling relationship. I decided to put myself first.

I recently signed up for a training I’ve been wanting to do for years. Actual f*cking years. I signed up, I paid in full, I booked for a single room, and… They messaged back and told me they only had dorms available. Shit. If you don’t know this about me, I haaate sharing my sleeping space, period. My partner and I don’t even sleep in the same room. So when I found out I’d have to stay in the dorms, I started finding reasons to try and undo the plunge I already took…until I realized I was limiting myself from something I really, really wanted for the sake of nothing but my own comfort. And I told myself what I’m also going to tell you: Get the f*ck over yourself.
