Between Truth & Falsehood

Part 2 of the Series Torn

The truth of Jesus' confession that He was the Christ wasn't accepted by the Sanhedrin. In the same way, living in truth today can prove challenging. But God has called us to live in truth. We can choose truth over falsehood by understanding:

1. Truth Can Be Inconvenient BUT It's What Brings Freedom

2. Truth Can Be Confrontational BUT It Aligns Us With God

3. Truth Can Be Mocked Now BUT It Will Be Victorious

Message Title - Torn Between Submission & Disobedience

Part 1 of the Series Torn

Jesus had the opportunity to choose submission or disobedience to the Father's will as He wrestled in Gethsemane with going to the cross. Christ's example of submission serves as a model for us. We can choose submission by:

1. Eliminating Competing Voices

2. Developing a Deeper Desire for the Father's Will

3. Preparing in Advance by Prayer

Though submission feels like a 'pressing', the 'pressing' produces anointing in our lives.

One for the ages! What an amazing day it was as we celebrated Our Risen Savior at Oglebay Park. Though we were confined to our vehicles in compliance with social distancing standards, God moved mightily. We’re so thankful for the empty tomb.

Palm Sunday

The Passover Feast, Communion, and God’s promises during a crisis.

Colossians 2 tells us the Old Testament festivals were ‘shadows of things to come’ and now the ‘reality is found in Christ.’ In looking at what God gave the Israelites at the Passover festival, we understand that the fulfillment has now come in our Passover Lamb. If God gave the Israelites identification, protection, and provision from the blood of a lamb - how much more will God identify, protect, and provide for His children under the new covenant of the blood of The Lamb (Christ).

Though the world is experiencing great uncertainty, there are things God’s people can remain certain of.
