This past Sunday we talked about how powerfully our smartphones shape us, and how easily we can be conformed to the noise of this world if we’re not intentional. The Bible reminds us that transformation comes through the renewing of our minds, and sometimes that begins by turning the volume down.
A digital detox will improve your mental health, creating space to breathe and regulate in an anxious, overstimulated world.
A digital detox will create more space for important relationships, helping us be fully present with the people God has placed in our lives.
A digital detox will improve your focus, freeing us from constant distraction and restoring our ability to pay attention.
A digital detox will create clarity to help you hear from God, making room for stillness, prayer, and discernment.
This isn’t about rejecting technology, it’s about choosing what shapes us. As we intentionally reduce digital noise this week, my prayer is that we would rediscover the joy of missing out, and the fullness of life Jesus promises.
