Matt continues our series on biblical Finance. God is calling His people out from darkness to light, into a covenant relationship with him. God loves humanity, and wants to BLESS all His creation.

Session 2 of our series on biblical finance. A study at University College London found that people are 7 times more likely to tell a stranger how many sexual partners they’ve had, whether they’ve had an affair, and whether they’ve ever had an STD than talk about their income. Burying our problems with money is the worst thing we can do, sharing out struggles in a trusted and loving environment is the best thing we can do.

Derick starts our three week series on finances. Investment should be in lives of other people. “Make investments here on earth that has eternal consequences” Use money to help other people.

We can often talk ourselves out of what God wants to do because we look at things from our perspective. Don’t work in our own strength but rely on God. God starts when we give him the Glory in the impossible areas. Like Joshua, be strong, be courageous do not be afraid and do not be discouraged. Discouragement will derail you, "Gods power is made perfect in weakness".

Esther shares about the story of David and how he was encouraged in the Lord.

Stan shares about how we should try and see life from other people’s perspectives. Nathan and Mariella Kemp share about their sons autism and how it has changed their outlook on life.

Ben shares how we should glorify God even in our weaknesses.

Sam shares about the Kingdom of God, how Jesus wanted the things of heaven to be manifest on earth. We can extend the kingdom of God to other people by sharing our blessings with other people. The blessings God pours on us aren’t for just our personal benefit - They’re for enhancing his Kingdom.

We can reach challenging times like the Egyptians when they faced the Red Sea and it's easy to run away or take short cuts. Matt shares how it's important to lean into God, trust him and give him chance to perform miracles and ignite blessings in our life.
