We are our strongest when we are close to the Lord. Sometimes when we drift far away from Him, things start to get hard and we lose faith but when we draw near to Him again, the Lord always receives us with open arms ready to take us back. As we serve God, let's remember that not only are we blessed spiritually but God wants us to be blessed in the things we have in our every day lives. We must be careful not to be swept up in the lackadaisical parts of Christianity that are just getting by, keeping quiet and staying in the background. We have to keep the fire burning in our hearts, for the Lord and His people. Pastor Steve preaches a message about keeping our spiritual fervor in the midst of a lukewarm church.

God works in the miraculous. It's His nature, but sometimes we forget He does miracles or think that things are hard for God when in fact, in it easy for Him to do anything. Our faith has to connect to what God really can do and see from the stories in the Bible, that God has done and can still do amazing things.

For April's Elevate service, Pastor Steve talks about the power of God's word and how important it is to put it at the forefront of our lives.

To be the Christians that we are meant to be, a vast army, we need both the breath of God and structure to be successful. Christ died so that we could have life and come together to accomplish a mighty work for Him. Each part of the body must do its own work and together we can do great things.
