Jesus quoted from the Psalms a lot, more than any other book of the Hebrew Bible (OT). He often pointed people to the psalms. Those same psalms often point us back to Jesus. We are reminded of that this week as we continue our One Story series and dig into Psalm 69. Together we learn that the Psalms teach us to pray, to express our emotions, and they help us find Jesus.

Though this story reveals who Jesus is, we shouldn’t miss his compassion to feed people who were hungry and needed food. Jesus wants us to feed the hungry because it is always the right thing to do.

Meals are a time to hit pause and connect over good food. The early church regularly practised gathering together over meals.

In today’s message we continue our Food series as Paul Kiss unpacks Romans 12:13. We are reminded that sharing a meal is a

great way to introduce people to Jesus and are challenged to put that into practise this week.
