All that we do must be done in love.

You can give without loving, but you can't love without giving. God's love for us is not based on what He gives to us (though He gave all), it's based on relationship. His love for us is unconditional, and no matter what life may bring, His love for us never changes. As He freely gave to us, it's His love that enables us so to give our all back to Him.
