Have we had too small of a vision for healing? Pastor Thomas encourages us from Scripture to see that God's vision for healing is far greater, much bigger, and increasingly more wholistic that we could ever imagine.

So often we come to God with what we think we need, with what we think will satisfy us, what we think our life's purpose is all about. But what we come to find is that all that comes up short compared to the purpose found in following Jesus.

Luke 4:31-44

In our second week in our series Grace in the Gaps, we follow Jesus into Capernaum where he performs his first miracles in the Gospel of Luke--an exorcism in the synagogue and healing Simon's mother-in-law of her terminal fever. While we may have a tendency to write people off as "lost causes," those who are behind helping or saving, those that are just too broken, to Jesus, there is no such thing as a lost cause.

Luke 4:1-13

Pastor Thomas kicks off a new sermon series during the season of Lent titled "Grace in the Gaps"--where we will be journeying through the Gospel of Luke seeing how Jesus meets us in whatever areas we are lacking and offers us his grace. In week 1 of this series, we see how Jesus gives us the perfect example of obedient trust in God His Father to provide for Him, during His temptation in the wilderness.
