Gamers assemble! You know how we play video games and there's a map to show us where to go and we have indicators to gain XP and potions... Without these, we'd be so lost. Life becomes easier when we have a guide to walk us through what's to be done. But instead of just indicating to us, we have someone who speaks to us directly and clearly nonetheless. Instead of riddles and cheat codes, this certain someone speaks into our lives in just the way we will understand. It's exciting  how someone unseen is yet so tangible and actively working in our lives.

Your best bud knows everything in and out about you and if their really intending good for you, they will help you when you need it and correct you when you do wrong. The Holy Spirit literally dwells with us and He chooses to stand on our behalf. God makes an active decision to forgive and forget our sins when we return to Him. But wait a minute... How can we listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say? And how do we follow His lead?

Ignorance is not always bliss.  Despite it being essential in every relationship, being a good listener is dying at this age. We often don't train our ears to listen but rather to project out our answers and opinions. Not having time to listen to the people around you or wanting to speak in self-defence are traits of a poor listener. What more do you think makes a poor listener? What would you do for a person you're grateful for? It could be someone who guided you or maybe even helped you when you were in dire need of it. What if this person saved your life at the cost of losing someone he loved at that? Some acts of kindness and love go beyond what words can explain. What God did for us on the cross is a gesture of love like no other and the only befitting response from us for being saved from death would be to surrender our lives to Him. So let's ask ourselves this... Do we really thirst for God when we do whatever we do? Is it Him in our minds while we interact with people?

Remember those movie scenes when the commander gives a peculiar order to his unit and still follows it through, even if they don't know the big picture? Trusting in God sometimes takes us through those tests of faith when we have to believe what He says even if it doesn't sound logical. But the assurance we have is that no matter what we face, His word stands true despite what people say and despite what deep pit we are in—still looking for some more encouragement?

Experiencing the Resurrection Life comes in phases. Like any other relationship, we have to start be knowing the person. In this case, Christ. What's next is finding freedom...  What's difficult to face alone, becomes easier with the right support. Now that you're free from what held you down, it's time to discover your purpose! And with it, you make a difference.

A purpose-driven life is fulfilling. Discovering your gift and your direction will help you achieve this. Think of what gets you excited. What is it that you enjoy doing? You know you have a certain skill set. Take the first step towards honing them. You have them to use them. Don't hide them under a rug. Still, got doubts and questions?

Forgiveness is like insurance we have received from God. No matter how far we run away if we turn back to Him and confess, our sins are all covered. Even when it comes to people, we're set free when we forgive others. We don't forgive someone who is right, we forgive someone who has wronged us. Carrying grudges or hurts from the past becomes extra baggage which can cause us to break down unexpectedly. The sooner we let it go, the easier it'll be for us to fully operate in God's plan in our lives.

God has the best of business plans and here's why. When we pay a loan, we pay back the principal amount with certain interest to the lender. But when we honour God with our tithe, He blesses the rest of our money. But it isn't just about seeing our possessions multiply... It's a sign of genuine devotion towards the giver of all possessions, who rightfully deserves what belongs to Him. This sounds way different from what we see around us, doesn't it?

With promotion comes the power for change and influence. But have you thought of where its power comes from? Who does it last with and why should they have this power? It's true that hard work plays a key role in achieving a promotion but what makes it last is God allowing it. He gives power to the humble, who choose to accept they don't know it all. And through them, He brings breakthroughs into the lives who need it.
