IN CHRIST WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD

The fact is, if you haven’t found out already, you soon will, when we deal with human beings, we have also have to accept them on an “as-is” basis. We all have flaws, we all have misprints, perhaps a streak of deception, a cruel tongue, a passive spirit, an out-of-control temper. It is as if God were saying, “I’m not going to tell you where it is, but it’s there. So when you find it—and you will find it—don’t be surprised. All of our relationships will be that way, because that is the example that Christ gave us…he accepted others just as they were and he accepted you just as you are…so to be like Christ we will need to learn to accept others on an “As is” basis.

Mothers are nurses & doctors & psychologists & counselors & chauffeurs & coaches. Mothers are developers of personalities, molders of vocabularies, & shapers of attitudes. Mothers are soft voices saying, "I love you." And mothers are a link to God, a child’s first impression of God’s love.

Mothers are all of these things & much, much more.
