1. When you think about “a time for everything,” what season of life do you feel you are in right now? What’s one activity you look forward to every season (summer, fall, winter, spring)?2. Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. What phrase keeps getting repeated? Why is this emphasized? Why does the “Teacher” list both positive and negative seasons of life? Out of all of the seasons listed, which is your least favorite and why?3. Read Ecclesiastes 3:9-15. What do verses 9–10 suggest about the burden people carry in life? What does verse 11 teach us about our longing for meaning beyond this life? How can remembering the God “has made everything beautiful in its time” bring you peace in a difficult season?4. Read Ecclesiastes 3:16-22. How does Solomon describe injustice in verse 16? How is God going to judge the righteous and the wicked? How does verse 21 raised the question of life after death? 5. How can trusting God’s unchanging work help you deal with uncertainty or change in your life? What practical steps can you take this week to embrace joy and purpose, even if you are in a season you do not fully understand?P.U.S.H.
