The New Life that Jesus offers is not one you need to wait for to start living! Jesus promised his followers that he would prepare a place for them in the Father's house! 

We are NOT of the world but we are IN IT! and while it may be full of trials of various kinds, one of the ways that we make space for New Life, is to let God rule over our CURRENT situations. We don't do that to shorten the wait but to learn that God wants to make you new here and now!
