“Called to Commune with God: Transfiguration of Christ”Matthew 17:1-13Synopsis: Before we hear God’s call in our lives to serve, we also need first to heed His call to commune with Him, to learn to rest in His presence and be transformed by His glory.

“Called to Be Loved by God: Calling of the Samaritan Woman”John 4:3-30, 39-42Synopsis: We’ll begin the retreat by talking about the love of God. Before we can hear God’s call for our lives, we need to renew our understanding of the Gospel of grace, how we’re called to be forgiven and loved by God.

Pastor Kee and Pastor Hudson will be having a public conversation about what they'd like to see in our church community. They will also take some time at the end of the conversation to address some of the hopes congregants may have for the church.

Paul lays out God's plan for the church in Ephesians 4: God gives the church leaders to equip its members; when that is done -- when members are equiped and serving one another -- growth happens and the body functions with healthy unity and is able to resist from drifting into error and a path that leads away from the will of God.This is why Paul's letters are filled with ""one another"" exhortations. Only when the members of the body are collectively ministering to one another (as opposed to the pastors simply ministering to its members), only then is the church the community that God wants it to be.In this sermon, we will be looking at the foundational community plan that God has for the church. In addition to this, we will explore some of the ""one another"" passages to see exactly what it looks like to live as a Christian community.

In his concern for what was going on in the Corinthian church, Paul teaches them about LOVE – the the most excellent way that God commanded us to live. Sermon is based on 1 Corinthians 12:31b – 13:13

Jesus wants us to renew our call in Him.
