Last Sunday of 2015! Praise the Lord for a great year. May the Gospel be what helps us to finish well this year. Sermon is based off of Philippians 1:12-21; 27-30.

When people heard about the birth of the newborn king, there were different reactions. By observing their various reactions, we can learn about what it means to truly pursue after Jesus, as God desires. How do you want to pursue Christmas?

We are reminded that the first Christmas came through difficult situations. God's Hope never dissapoints us.

Modern Christians often lack patience with regard to the promises of God. When we see delay in the greater thigns of God coming to fruition in our lives, often we compromise and seek out counterfeits that are more easily accessible to us in the now. Faith in God requires a real, perseverning patience -- and this patience does not disappoint because God is faithful. Two prime exampels of this are Simeon and Anna. They both waited faithfully and patiently for the salvation of Israel and the world, and when God's plan unfolded, they were ovewhelmed with joy as their eyes saw what their faith had been waiting and longing for. Faith (and waiting) in the God of Jesus Christ does not disappoint.

We all desire for greater things in our relationships as children. When God created us "His sons and daughters" and calls us by name, this should have significant implications in our relationships with our parents. Ephesians 6:1-4 & Luke 14:25-27

Thanksgiving is about remembering God's grace over our lives! Sermon is based from Luke 17:11-19.
