When we last spoke in late fall of 2019 Neil Hunter and his bandmates in Takeaway Thieves were excited about their EP and recording a new album in 2020. A lot changed in the world but the band took the time to prepare themselves for success when normalcy returned.

The rise of cryptocurrency along with dismal payouts from streaming services has caused artists like Takeaway Thieves to change their thinking when it comes to revenue. NFT gives theses bands more power over their music and the ability to bring in money. A missing element for new and emerging bands.
