Researchers have discovered how to diagnose melancholia, which is a severe form of depression, by analysing the facial expressions and brain activity of people as they watched highly emotive films.
Lead Researcher at QIMR Berghofer, Dr Philip Mosley, told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons, "we are hoping with this research, we will be able to say loudly that, all depression is not the same."
