Myomectomy is the removal of fibroids from the uterus. If they are small (submucosal) fibroids, meaning along the inside cavity, they can be removed simply with hysteroscopy. However, to completely remove the other fibroids within the uterus, we often will need to do so through the abdominal route. We talk about this in our latest Podcast!
