As Grace Testament Church continues its 70th anniversary celebration, Week 2 carries a timely message titled “New Season,” preached by Pastor Rafy Panlilio from Isaiah 61:1–4.
Looking back at Israel’s 70-year exile, the prophet Isaiah declared that after a season of discipline would come a season of favor. That promise ultimately finds its fulfillment in Christ—the One who brings restoration, righteousness, and lasting joy.
In this message, Pastor Rafy reminds the church that a New Season is not merely about external breakthroughs in finances, health, or success. More than circumstantial change, it is about spiritual renewal.
Isaiah 61 reveals three marks of a true New Season:
Rejoicing – God gives the oil of joy instead of mourning. Real joy flows from intimacy with Him. His presence is our true home.
Righteousness – Believers become “oaks of righteousness,” planted by the Lord for His glory. Our righteousness is not self-made but rooted in what Christ has done.
Restoration – God rebuilds what has been ruined. Through Jesus, the New Season has already begun, and restoration is available to those who trust in Him.
As GTC celebrates seven decades of God’s faithfulness, this message calls every believer to step into deeper intimacy, firmer righteousness, and confident hope for what God is about to do next.
Because of Christ, you are qualified for your New Season.
