Joy is from God and is something we can have despite circumstances. Happiness is an emotion given by God, but it is temporary and fleeting. How can we live with joy?

Let's look at John 16:16-24 and see how sorrow can turn to joy.

Envy is an emotion, it has a tendency to take over our hearts and our minds. What is the source of our envy? How do we learn contentment?

Let's look at Philippians 4:10-13 for the antidote to envy.

Anger is an emotion, is it God given or is it from our sin nature? What should we do when we feel angry?

God created us and gave us His word to help us to know how to deal with our emotions.

As we take a look at Jonah 4, we see that Jonah is more concerned about his own comfort that the multitude of souls that could die without salvation.
