10 Truths Learned Over 30 Years: 1. The longer the the positive history the stronger the prophetic future. 2. It's going to take the whole church preaching the whole gospel to reach the whole world. 3. The concept, construct, and context of and for spiritual family is worth cultivating and contending for. 4. A senior leader is primarily a spiritual facilitator of prophetic processes, helping Jesus' Church to hear His voice, speak His word, and do His work. 5. When a local church is loving, healthy, and highly functional it is beautiful to behold and a blessing beyond measure. 6. Raising "homegrown" teams who are loyal to Jesus, their church, and one another is a treasure beyond measure. 7. Every step away from a covenantal relationship, including with God, begins with offense and suspicion born out of an attitude of ingratitude. 8. Multiplying a network of spiritually healthy small groups is the key to cultivating a caring congregational community. 9. Disciple-making that is personal, biblical, thorough, and reproducible is vital to creating world-changing followers of Jesus. 10. Seeing souls saved and disciples made by reaching neighbors, nations, and generations with the good news of Jesus Christ's love and power was and is a mission worth giving your whole life for and to.
