New To Weeaboo

Episode 83 is here! We watched Elfen Lied. We're not fans. For a variety of reasons. So yes, we rip into another classic anime. Fun for everyone! You can check out Elfen Lied on Amazon Prime (English dub only, missing OVA).

Welcome to episode 82! We watched some horse races. And by that, we mean, horse girl races. Because it was actually Uma Musume: Pretty Derby! The anime based on the gacha franchise where you train horse girls. Despite how it sounds, it's actually quite wholesome and fun. Check it out on Crunchyroll (or don't, considering...).

It's time for episode 81! We watched the classic anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, as well as its movie, The Disapperance of Haruhi Suzumiya. There is a lot to talk about, both within the anime and around it. So we weren't able to get to absolutely everything, but it was still a lot. Check it out on Crunchyroll (the movie is only available as a separate purchase).

Time for episode 78! Once again, it's time to sample the new anime from the current season, the summer 2022 one. And we got a good variety this time, too. An odd romance, a yakuza taking care of a kid, stand-up comedians, and some girls shooting criminals. Check them out:

Episode 77 is here! We went back to the wonderful show, SPY x FAMILY! The first half of the season is done, and we got to see so much more of the wonderful goofy characters in it. And the absurd situations they find themselves in. Like family visits, castle adventures, and a dodgeball game. Check it out on Crunchyroll!

Welcome to episode 76! We watched the 2nd season of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. And this season brought 3 new characters. One of whom was incredibly controversial beforehand, thanks to her role in the mobile game. She got better, though. Check it out on Crunchyroll!

It's time for episode 75! We talked about two very different anime in this one. The first is Netsuzou Trap, which is a generally uncomfortable to watch romance about two girls cheating on their boyfriends, but still possibly worth a watch. Then there's Kase-san and Morning Glories, which is a nice and wholesome anime about two girls dating in their final year of high school. Check out Netsuzou Trap on Crunchyroll and Kase-san and Morning Glories on Hidive!

Content Warning: Netsuzou Trap contains depictions of physical abuse, sexual assault, and cheating.
