The message highlights the significance of tithing, tracing its roots back to Abraham, and argues that it remains relevant today as an expression of trust in God's provision. Ultimately, we are invited to ask God about tithing, and we are urged to act on His answers and seek financial breakthroughs.

The Man of Faith | Galatians - The Fall of Legalism and the Rise of the Spirit Filled Church

Pastor Jarod discusses the Apostle Paul's letter to the Galatians, emphasizing the liberation from legalism brought by faith in Christ. He illustrates how a religious spirit can sap the vitality from believers by insisting on added proof of faith, much like the challenges faced by early Christians. This message highlights the importance of justification by faith, using the example of Abraham's obedience and worship as a model for believers today. Worship is a vital response to God, especially when we're faced with uncertainty. True belonging comes through faith alone.

The Curse of the Law | Galatians - The Fall of Legalism and the Rise of the Spirit Filled Church

In this message, Pastor Mike addresses the tension between legalism and living by the Spirit, as illustrated by Paul’s message to the Galatians. He emphasizes that faith, rather than adherence to the law, is the true path to righteousness, pointing out that the law serves to highlight our sinfulness but does not bring salvation. Drawing parallels to historical and biblical narratives, he encourages us to focus on deepening our relationship with Jesus rather than falling back into legalistic behaviors. The message concludes with a call for reflection on what might need to be removed from our lives in order to fully embrace the promise of the Spirit.

Love Over Legalism | Galatians - The Fall of Legalism and the Rise of the Spirit Filled Church

Pastor Michael continues our Galatians series with his message, "Love Over Legalism", emphasizing Paul’s argument against relying on the law for salvation and spiritual perfection. He explains that external actions and compliance with the law cannot bring about inner transformation; rather, true change comes from a genuine relationship with Jesus. Highlighting Paul's past as a Pharisee, the message stresses that neither legalism nor obedience can earn God's love, which is given freely. Ultimately, the law serves as a guide leading to Christ, who fulfills its purpose and offers salvation through faith, not through works.
