New Vague City

A group of us pulled into a bar in Long Island City, after the porn party of Michele Capozzi at the Metropolitan Building. This is the second time, this particular group of nutters reconvened since the time of our initial intersection. At the roundtable; Janusz, John, Joel, Sarah and a couple of new friends talk about the biometrics of the now, Image-Reality, music as spiritual discourse, Bernd Naber and beyond.

On 15th of October 19, the bon vivant of classic NY pornography, a playboy of the 80s, producer Michele Capozzi held an event at the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City to commemorate the birthday of a legendary pornographic actress Candida Royalle. She was a pioneer in the porn industry to produce films that appealed to women. The evening was attended by a roster of porn stars, artists and mincers. This quick conversation between KiNo, Gianni and Carlo, looking at the projection of Revelations (1993), a dystopian porno flick directed by Candida Royalle, makes some points about the whereabouts of sex and pornography at the tangent of modern life.

New York Kids today.. in amongst themselves, playing video games. Pay attention. This may seem like an ordinary moment thru the funnel of the micro dimension of now, but on the meta and macro dimensions, we can construct a clear view of the whole culture from this specimen. I was born with video games on my lap, too. Human relations. Human manifestations. These children are my close friends and their young minds are constant attack by the commercial entities. At one point, Daniel says "Who cares" and Zoya replies "Who cares about anything". These words aren't theirs. Other times their quips show the fiery children's intelligence at work. This is an anthropological focus on the cross section of an iPad, a farming game (I think it is minecraft), kids and the state of the culture and where we are headed.

New Vague City presents a conversation between 3 heads in transit, in the middle of the night.

Ali was driving a cab that night and picked KiNo and Will when they came out of the tv party IDENTITUM's filming at Nublu (10-11 September 19).

Cinepoem, combined teaser of 3 works: Every fragment in this universe contains the whole. Three realities of 9: New Vague City is a tv show in the US: a micro-reality. Corpus Enigma is a film-myth in Roma: the meta-reality. A is the macro exploration of human civilisation and its evolution, distortion and amnesia. All three works are interconnected, they hold and feed into each other through the missions I undertake in 3 different geographies and timelines. I am poised on, stripping off the estrangement, abstractions nailed on the core faculty that is present in every human being, yet, which also remains distorted or even unrecognised: the spirit.. true manifestation of the individual.

KiNo dons a homage to Bowie and all that he embody, rock'n roll.. while filming sequences for New Vague City and Corpus Enigma.
