Minkah Fitzpatrick got his revenge game against his former team, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers reminded the league that they are the best in the business, and Jets fans are starting to realize they are in worse shape than the Miami Dolphins.  In the NBA, the Miami Heat look like they could be contenders in the East, and Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn are playing like they were top 3 picks.

The Dolphins actually looked like an NFL team this past weekend, but of course still lost to the Bills 31-21.  As usual, we discuss the interesting games from around the NFL, and somehow manage to compare Patrick Mahomes to Ryan Tannehill.  With the start of the NBA season tomorrow, we lay out our expectations for the Miami Heat and the rest of the teams in the league.  Baseball even makes a rare appearance, as we discuss who we are rooting for in the World Series.

We had some technical difficulties with this episode, so the audio for the first hour or so is not-so-great quality.  The not-so-great Miami Dolphins almost got their first win of the season against the Washington Deadskins, and we discuss the mix of emotions felt as the fins failed to convert the 2PA that would have won them the game.  Some of the NFL power teams looked not so great, as the Chiefs lost their second straight game and the Cowboys and Rams both lost their third straight.  We wrap up the episode by debating whether we would include Tyler Herro in a trade for Bradley Beal.

The Dolphins managed to not lose by 30 points last week, as they had a bye.  We discuss their upcoming matchup against the Washington Deadskins, and whether or not we actually want them to win.  Baker and the Browns look like they may have a rough season after winning the offseason, and somehow Jacoby Brissett game managed his way to a victory in Arrowhead.  NBA preseason is also underway, and the Miami Heat finally look good enough to compete in the Eastern Conference.

The Dolphins continue to suck a little bit less, losing by only 20 to the Chargers this week.  Gardner Minshew is proving to be the quarterback Baker Mayfield aspires to be, and we can't figure out if the Bills are good.

With the NBA season kicking off this month, we also talk about the Miami Heat's media day.  We pray that the Heat can bring some semblance of happiness to the South Florida sports scene.
