Few jobs rival the physical demands of sheep shearing, so New Zealand-born shearer Lou Brown’s grueling effort to shear 497 sheep is even more impressive given that he broke the previous record of 466 set in 2003… a feat that he attributes to years of practice and months of physical training & meditation.

 

Michael is joined by Judge Bart Hadfield from the World Sheep Shearing Records Society who traveled from New Zealand to adjudicate and verify the record attempt.
