Her grandmother despised instant and boxed food. Deja was never allowed to buy it. cooking soon led her to cooking for small parties and dishes for friends. Uncle Wyatt opened up a bar and grill called "Lawrence's", and this began her journey of professional cooking. While at Lawrence's, Deja got the opportunity to learn and perfect her craft from the best, Chef Les and Chef Cell. She worked at Lawrence's for 2 years before their closing due to Uncle Wyatt's health conditions. She began selling dinners from the comfort of her own home, a convenient set up for a single mother with limited resources. This led to catering and meal prep. She now travels the country, sometimes with her son in tow, cooking for celebrities as a private chef. When she is not traveling she is catering corporate and social events of all kinds. She is extremely thankful for the opportunity to work and make a living at her own discretion. She is a 42 year old single mother of 1 son. She resides in New Jersey. Millennials on the West Coast are the most concerned with getting a work promotion or raise in 2020. Millennials are the most confident in keeping all their resolutions (39%). Regional Statistics: Losing weight is more important to those who live in the Midwest than any other US region, while exercising is more important for those on the West Coast compared to the rest of the US. The southern states find it more important to drink less alcohol than any other region, but the Northeast has more people that would like to stop drinking alcohol completely.
