Happy New Year, everyone! I can't believe it's already 2023. This is the time of year when we reflect on the past year and start setting New Year's Resolutions. Despite our best intentions, many people fail to keep their resolutions by April, leaving them feeling shameful and inadequate.
I would like to offer you a different perspective this year. The cycle of setting yourself up for failure needs to be broken. Here's how I managed to shift from failure to success.
Let's start with the word itself: Resolution
It's finding a solution to a problem. Whatever it is, you are looking for a solution to a problem, whether it is wealth, health, or something else. The result is often disappointment and discouragement. Why not create a REVELATION this year instead of a resolution?
What’s the difference between resolutions and revelations
Basically, it's a look at what you want to achieve in the coming year. What you can do to live a more intentional life. In other words, it's about deciding what you want to create and setting goals to get there. Instead of trying to change or solve something.
You can do this by creating a theme for the year. It involves picking a word of the year or a phrase and taking intentional action around it. In contrast to a problem you are trying to solve, a revelation is linked to your purpose and vision.
In 2023, what is your vision? What is your word/theme for this year?
Are you ready to grow your business in 2023? I want you to ask yourself these questions.
- What would it feel like if you didn’t have to be spammy tammy?
- What would it feel like to be confident when showing up on Instagram, knowing you would make major cash?
- What would it feel like if you were actually having fun on Instagram?
