Joseph’s story moves from a dream to a betrayal, from a favored robe to an empty cistern, and from a family’s hatred to a future God was still shaping. His brothers called him “the dreamer,” but the label they placed on him in crisis did not define his character or derail God’s plan. Their jealousy shows how sin begins in the heart and leads to destruction, while Joseph’s journey points to a God who remains in control even when everything feels out of control. What looks like the worst chapter may actually become the beginning of God’s next chapter.
1. During your success or trial, others will label you.
2. That label is not your character.
3. Your character will be revealed later.
