  • Vibes web3 music competition week 9. Cover of "I know who I am" by Sinarch.

Good day everyone in the vibes music community. It's my privilege to participate in this week's music competition, precisely week 9. Thanks @lordbutterfly for this initiative. I am grateful.
I am doing a cover of “I know who I am “ by Sinach. Sinach is a contemporary popular Nigerian Gospel artist who has recorded hundreds of gospel songs.
The song “I know who I am “ is a conscious effort to remind Christians who they are in Christ and what they stand to gain as Christians. A lot of Christians are ignorant of what they can achieve in Christ and through Christ.
The lyrics of the song are as follows.
    We are a chosen generation
called forth to show his excellence
Hey all I require for life
    God has given me
And I know who I am
    We are a chosen generation
called forth to show his excellence
    All I require for life
    God has given me
For I know who I am
I know who God says I am
    What he says I am
    Where he says am at
    I know who I am
I know who God says I am
    What he says I am
    Where he says am
    I know who I am
    I'm walking in power
    I walk in miracles
I live a life of favor
Cos I know who I am
    I'm walking in power
    I walk in miracles
I live a life of favor
Cos I know who I am
    Ooh oh oh oh oh

  • Vibes web3 music competition week 8, Cover of "Blowing in the Wind". Bob Dylan(1963)
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=newbreed/lzzqkcll
Hello everyone, good day. I am @newbreed and I am also happy to participate in this week's Vibes Web3 music competition week 8. This week has it that a song must be from the 1960s so I decided to select a song from that era. I wouldn't fail to appreciate @lordbutterfly for his effort so far in initiating this music contest.
For this week I am presenting a cover titled “blowing in the Wind” by Bob Dylan. In line with the theme for the week. Blowing in the Wind was released in 1963. It's a song about leadership and responsibility at the same time it's about freedom.
Also, I decided to use a black-and-white theme to depict the era the song was produced. I hope you enjoy the presentation.
    **lyrics**
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, and how many times must the cannonballs fly
    Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind
Yes, and how many years must a mountain exist
Before it is washed to the sea?
And how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, and how many times can a man turn his head
And pretend that he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind
Yes, and how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
And how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind

  • Afri tune week 109. A cover of "The champion" by Nathaniel Bassey.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=newbreed/xbieyptq
It's a pleasure for me to participate in the Afri Tune Week 109 music competition. I have been following the activities of the people here and I must say that I am thrilled with them hence I am also compelled to participate.
In the process of looking for a song to present in this week's competition I finally settled with one of my favorite songs by Nathaniel Bassey “the champion the host above”. This song has been on repeat for quite a long time now. I love this song because of the strong lyrics it has. The song is a song of testimony to all believers all over the world. Jesus Christ is our champion. And in him alone we make our boost and no one else. Through Jesus Christ, we are saved from sin and hell. A believer in Christ should be proud of this and be boastful of this fact.
Nathanial Bassey is a popular Nigerian gospel artist who has recorded hundreds of songs which are popular both in the country and across board. “The Champion of the Host " is one of his popular songs. Which has been performed by other artists.
Take a look at the lyrics
I come before my lord and king
The one who gave his life for me
I'll raise the banner of his name
Until the nations call on him
The champion of the hosts above
    And captain of my destiny
In you alone I make my boast
You reign alone as lord of all
We sing we sing as one with heaven's choir
The praises of our savior the praises of our savior king
Emmanuel he's God with us our God with us
He redeemed us all from hell and sin
The champion of the hosts above
    And captain of my destiny
In you alone in you alone I make my boast
You reign alone as lord of all
I hope you fine this song interesting and entertaining.

  • Vibes web3 music competition week 7, a cover of "Lucille" by Kenny Rogers
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=newbreed/tyoqabkv
Hello everyone in the vibes web3 music community. Here's my submission for week 7 music competition. This week I decided to do a cover song by Kenny Rogers titled “ Lucille”.
The song itself is about a heartbreak experienced by Lucille's husband. Lucille had left her husband with four children and crops in the field and she went to a brothel to meet with another man. This is a call to couples to be faithful to their spouses.
However, let me use this medium to thank @lordbutterfly for still sustaining this competition. I am grateful.
**Below is the lyrics of the song**
In a bar in Toledo across from the depot
On a barstool, she took off her ring
I thought I'd get closer so I walked on over
I sat down and asked her name
When the drinks finally hit her she said, I'm no quitter
But I finally quit livin' on dreams
I'm hungry for laughter and here ever after
I'm after whatever the other life brings
In the mirror, I saw him and I closely watched him
I thought how he looked out of place
He came to the woman who sat there beside me
He had a strange look on his face
The big hands were calloused, he looked like a mountain
For a minute I thought I was dead
But he started shaking, his big heart was breaking
He turned to the woman and said
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
With four hungry children and a crop in the field
I've had some bad times, lived through some sad times
But this time your hurting won't heal
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
After he left us, I ordered more whiskey
I thought how she'd made him look small
From the lights of the barroom
    To a rented hotel room
We walked without talking at all
She was a beauty but when she came to me
She must have thought I'd lost my mind
I couldn't hold her 'cause the words that he told her
Kept coming back time after time
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
With four hungry children and a crop in the field
I've had some bad times, lived through some sad times
But this time your hurting won't heal
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
With four hungry children and a crop in the field
I've had some bad times, lived through some sad times
But this time your hurting won't heal
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille
You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille

He pasado malos momentos, he vivido momentos tristes
Pero esta vez tu dolor no sanará
Elegiste un buen momento para dejarme, Lucille.

  • "Reign Jesus Reign" and "You are the King" a cover medley for praise and worship music week 25
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=newbreed/twdvgnfv
Good day everyone in the sound music community. It's my privilege to participate in this week's sound music competition, precisely week 25. I am grateful. Thanks to @stefy.music for bringing up this awesome project on hive.
I am doing a cover of a medley “reign Jesus reign“ and “you are the king above all the earth”by Shirley Caesar and Victor Olayeni respectively. The song reign Jesus reign is from the album you Can make it and was released in the year 2000. The song has been performed by many artist and one of which is Jeo mettle. Shirley Caeser is a contemporary popular American Gospel artist who has recorded a lot of gospel songs. Meanwhile you are the king above all the earth was released in the year 2011 by a Nigerian artist victor Olayeni the song has also been performed by various artists.
The song “reign Jesus reign “ is absolutely inline with the theme for the week “ king of kings”. The song is also inline with the Easter season as celebrated by Christians all over the world. It was Jesus' victory over death that he was crowned the king of kings by God himself. As a king, he reigns on the earth and in the heavens. So this song is affirming the fact that Jesus reigns over all. A lot of Christians are ignorant of the reigning king which is Jesus, hence they still find it difficult to also reign in life as kings and priests. they can achieve all things in this life through Christ . This is inline with what apostle Paul says in the book of Phil.4.13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
    Lyrics
    Reign Jesus reign
    Reign Jesus reign
    King of zion
    Judah’s lion
    Reign Jesus reign.
    Kabi O osi o kabi O osi
You are the King above all the earth
    Kabi O osi o kabi O osi
I want to use this medium to invite @ezemann @sylvastick and @fulfillment to join the music community and sing praise and worship to our God.

Buenos días a todos en la comunidad de la música sonora. Tengo el privilegio de participar en el concurso de música sonora de esta semana, precisamente la semana 25. Estoy muy agradecido. Gracias a @stefy.music por subir este impresionante proyecto a hive.
Estoy haciendo un cover de un medley "reign Jesus reign" y "you are the king above all the earth "de Shirley Caesar y Víctor Olayemi respectivamente.

  • Hive open mic week 207. A song cover of "If Hollywood don't need you" by Don Williams"
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=newbreed/xozszncz
I feel delighted to participate in this week's #hiveopenmic contest. Week 207 has a very interesting theme “who is missed” selected by the featured artist @rico.csirait .
In the course of thinking about the song that really fit into the week's theme, “If Hollywood don't need you” by Don Williams. The lyrics of the song are so captivating and it talks about the extent to which a woman is missed by her lover at home. The woman went for a movie audition and her man wrote a letter to wish her well and to also assure her that if she hasn't succeeded that she's needed at home by her man. The song is so inspiring. The song was released in 1982
    **Lyrics**
Well, you know I'm not much good at writing letters
So, I gave up and decided that I'd call
No, there's really not much news to tell you
Things back here, they never change at all
It snowed today, it's cold here for November
But I hear the weather's warm out there
Oh, and if you see Burt Reynolds
Would you shake his hand for me?
And tell old Burt, I've seen all his movies
Well, I hope you make the big time
I hope your dreams come true
But if Hollywood don't need you
    Honey, I still do
Last night I drove the truck to Amarillo
Some friends and I, we had a laugh or two
But lately we don't cut up like we used to
'Cause all that I can think about is you
I know this is what you've always wanted
But I know now that all I want is you
So if you see Burt Reynolds
Would you shake his hand for me?
And tell old Burt, I've seen all his movies
Well, I hope you make the big time
I hope your dreams come true
But if Hollywood don't need you
    Honey, I still do
    If Hollywood don't need you

  • Vibes web3 music competition. A cover of "what a beautiful name" by Hillsong
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=newbreed/nbxucudd
Hello everyone, I feel delighted to participate once again in the Vibes web3 music competition week 6 The competition is getting interesting as days go by. I am proud of @lordbutterfly for coming up with this auspicious project. And I want to congratulate the winners of this competition so far.
In this week's vibes music competition, I will be presenting a song by Hillsong titled “what a beautiful name”. The inspiration behind this song is so captivating to me. The song is about the name of Jesus. This is the season where Jesus Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through His death we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins. The Bible said that God has highly exalted him and given him a name that is above all names. That name is Jesus Christ. Through His name, I have victory in this world. I hope this song blesses your heart.
    *the lyrics of the song*
*upYou were the Word at the beginning
One with God the Lord Most High
    Your hidden glory in creation
Now, revealed in You our Christ
What a beautiful Name it is, what a beautiful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a beautiful Name it is, nothing compares to this
What a beautiful Name it is, the Name of Jesus
You didn't want heaven without us
So Jesus, You brought heaven down
My sin was great, Your love was greater
    What could separate us now?
What a wonderful Name it is, what a wonderful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a wonderful Name it is, nothing compares to this
What a wonderful Name it is, the Name of Jesus
What a wonderful Name it is, the Name of Jesus
How sweet is Your Name, Lord, how good You are)
We love to sing in Your Name, Lord, love to sing of who You are
Death could not hold You, the veil tore before You
You silenced the boast of sin and grave
The Heavens are roaring the praise of Your glory
For You are raised to life again
You have no rival, You have no equal
Now and forever, God, You reign
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the Glory
Yours is the Name above all names
What a powerful Name it is, what a powerful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a powerful Name it is, nothing can stand against
What a powerful Name it is, the Name of Jesus
You have no rival, You have no equal
Now and forever, God, You reign
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the Glory
Yours is the Name above all names
What a powerful Name it is, what a powerful Name it is
The Name of Jesus Christ my King
What a powerful Name it is, nothing can stand against
What a powerful Name it is, the Name of Jesus
What a powerful Name it is, the Name of Jesus
What a powerful Name it is, the Name of Jesus*

Hello everyone, I feel delighted to participate once again in the Vibes web3 music competition week 5. The competition is getting interesting as days go by. I am proud of @lordbutterfly for coming up with this auspicious project.
In this week's vibes music competition, I will be presenting a song by Westlife titled “you raised me up”. The inspiration behind this song is so captivating to me. I have experienced so many failures in life, but suddenly I am lifted beyond expectation. People came through for me and gave me their shoulders to stand on. That's why it is often said that the greatest gift of a man is a gift of people. I dedicate this song to my parents, my mentors and my friends who never gave up on me despite my failures.
    *the lyrics of the song*
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until You come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.
You raise me up to more than I can be
