What does it mean for us that Jesus has the keys of Hades and death- How does knowing Jesus help us overcome fear-

We look at the prophecy of Joel as quoted by Peter on the day of Pentecost. In this prophecy we see parts that were fulfilled on the day of Pentecost and we see other parts yet to be fulfilled during the church age and others that will be fulfilled when God's judgement falls on the earth.

In this last message in the series- -Ascension to Pentecost-, we look at -the Spirit of knowledge- and -the Spirit of the fear of the Lord-. --It is the Holy Spirit who works it in us to have reverence, respect, and adoration for God as well as stand in awe of His greatness and majesty. As we gain knowledge of God's amazing grace and who God is, Christ is and the Spirit is - we increase in reverence towards Him.

The qualification- -Spirit of might- as revealed in Isaiah 11-1-2 is visible in believers as they are upheld, strengthened and enabled to boldly speak the truth. Believers are also helped in their prayer life and to abound in hope. Finally believers have the instrument the Spirit uses so we can speak -THE TRUTH-.

God the Holy Spirit as -the Spirit of might- is the power of God in creation, the conception of Christ, the resurrection, in the miracles Jesus did, in the effectiveness of Gospel preaching and overcoming difficulties...

The fourth qualification of the Holy Spirit in Isaiah 11-1-2 is -the Spirit of counsel-. He is the One with a plan and the means to execute His plan. -THE PLAN- will come to pass as decided in the counsel of God's will. The counsel of God, are -guaranteed- to be executed to perfection and no one can annul it...

Who or what is our spiritual warfare directed at- In this Bible study we look at the first object of our spiritual battle.

Praise God for the Spirit of understanding, because without Him, we would not be able to understand God's Word, His Person and works, the future... It is God the Holy Spirit who enables us to understand the things which eye have not seen and ear have not heard and has not come up in the heart...

John in exile sees a vision of the exalted Jesus. He falls at Jesus's feet as if dead because of what he saw. What did he see that was worth the fall-

David gives us a list of characteristics of someone who is allowed to temporarily worship God and stay with Him in heaven forever. Looking at the list - it is very clear that no one qualifies. What now-
