If we are seeking to live according to the will of God we will discover the plans he has for us!

"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose." - Philippians 2:13

Part 3 of our Christmas 2020 Series: The Outsiders 

Pastor Phillip dives in to the stories of the Shepherds and Wise Men and the fact that God uses the outsiders to announce the coming kingdom and what that means for us.

"Those who were in darkness have seen a great light." - Isaiah 9:2

How will you direct your thoughts today? Here is a good way to start:

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things." - Philippians 4:8

"The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice and be glad." - Psalm 118:24

This is the day the Lord has given. He has filled it with possibilities. He has filled it with His purpose.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." - James 1:5

Prayer changes things. If we have questions with no answer, needs that can't be met alone, or if we just desire to know God's plans, we need to pray and ask for His direction.

SEASON THREE: PRAYER

Is prayer an integral part of your daily routine? Or, is prayer just an as needed basis for you? 

It needs to be integral, it needs to be without ceasing.

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." - Matthew 21:22

Our outer struggles often times are the result of our inner conflict...but we can truly find peace.

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But, take heart! I have overcome the world." - John 16:33

"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." - Micah 6:8

"And He walks with me...He talks with me..."

Are we walking with Him?

Sunday Sermon for December 13, 2020. Pastor Phillip dives into Luke 1 and Matthew 1 to discover the Kingdom of God breaking in to this world. If we have a Kingdom minded Christmas we will be mindful of the little blessings God is giving daily.

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness..." - Matthew 6:33

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price." - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Are you concerned about your health? Not just physical, but emotional and spiritual health as well? The Bible has the remedy...God is the Remedy.
