Healthy spiritual growth should be the pursuit of every follower of Jesus. But how is it pursued and what gains are there to be had? The answers are closer than you might think.

Rarely does anyone gather without a purpose. Even if the purpose is simply to hang out, the gathering still has a purpose. What is the purpose behind a church gathering? The answer may just cause you to rethink what you’ve always thought, and possibly reconsider what you’ve allowed to compete with church!

Hebrews 10:25 says, "Let us not give up meeting together!" Why is that? The list of reasons for why is quite long. Simply put, faithfulness in church attendance helps us grow more like Christ in more ways than one can imagine.

Just like an infant who craves its mother's milk for nourishment and growth, Christians crave the same kind of spiritual growth and nourishment from God's Word. The result is maturity in our faith and a deeper walk with Jesus! We were born to grow!

Psalm 133:1 says, "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" How true that is! God loves when individual believers and churches are unified. He describes beautifully how His blessings flow when unity is experienced. So, let us make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
