In our concluding message of our Heroes series, Pastor Robin Phillips celebrates women of the Bible and explores the impact of Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, Joanna, Susanna, and Salome.

After 400 years of slavery, God heard the cries of the Israelites and sent Moses, the great deliverer. But Moses did not come alone to fight this battle against the powerful Egyptians. God sent his older brother Aaron as a spokesman and an older sister to instill faith in a people suffering the bondage of slavery. We take a closer look at this unlikely hero, Miriam, a leader, worshiper, prophet, and a instiller of faith to doubting hearts.

Pastor Robin Phillips continues our Heroes series by examining the life of King David in 2 Samuel chapters 15-19. David was at the lowest point in his life, but he survived through the great grace of his loyal friends. Proverbs 17:17 says "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born out of adversity."

The Bible is filled with stories of unlikely heroes. In this message Pastor Jim Sink takes a closer look at Barnabas, a Christ follower who saw the potential in others, helped empower them and shaped them as heroes!

Children think of heroes as villain fighting, cape wearing men and women possessing unique powers. Superheroes make for great action movies and entertain us but they are far from reality. In this series we will look at some unlikely heroes and discover how to be a hero in our own story.
