Tesla’s latest innovation is liquid cooling for its Supercharger cables. Any of you that have used a Supercharger will know that the cables are very thick, heavy and inflexible. At the Palo Alto Supercharger, Tesla has just introduced liquid cooling to the cable, which means it can be much thinner, lighter and more flexible. Check out this short video I shot while I was at the Palo Alto Supercharger.

I forgot to mention that Elon said they are rolling out LTE connectivity to cars (vs. the current 3G connection), but didn’t provide any details. My assumption is that new cars will have the LTE chipset, but there will be no retrofitting of existing cars.
