Jones-McNair has a new title but a similar mission, spearheading initiatives that help promote accessibility, inclusion, and a sense of belonging in town. She highlighted five ongoing efforts in particular, from an oral history project to ADA accessibility in roadwork to a renewed push to have resources available in multiple languages when there’s a local emergency like Tropical Storm Chantal.
