Shauyan is joined by USMNT fan Alex Calabrese to preview the CONCACAF Nations League final. We begin by discussing the two semi-final games between the USMNT v Honduras and Mexico v Costa Rica which saw a late goal from SBC Young Boys forward Jordan Siebatcheu to help the USMNT secure the win and Guillermo Ochoa be the hero in the penalty shootout. We break down and discuss both those games, seeing what were the positives/negatives for the USMNT and Mexico. We then discuss what we wanna see from the USMNT and the future of soccer. Discussing the domestic success most of these players had this season where we saw Christian Pulisic winning the UEFA Champions League, Sergino Dest/Konrad De La Fuente winning the Copa Del Rey, Weston McKennie winning Coppa Italia, Zack Steffen winning the Premier League, Tim Weah winning the Ligue 1 title, Gio Reyna winning the DFB-Pokal, Brenden Aaronson winning the Austrian League, Jordan Siebatcheu winning the Swiss Super League and Mark McKenzie winning the Belgian Cup. Then going back and forth if Gregg Berhalter is the right coach for the USMNT. In today's podcast, I was joined by Art Eftekhari host of Team Melli Talk to preview Iran's World Cup qualifiers. We began by discussing Dragan Skočić's team selection for these final four qualifying matches. It had all the big names all Iranian fans were hoping to see Saeid Ezatolahi, Alireza Beiranvand, Morteza Pouraliganji, Mehdi Taremi, Sardar Azmoun, Saman Ghoddos, and Alireza Jahanbakhsh. We then preview the four matches against Hong Kong, Behram, Cambodia, and Iraq. Then we discuss what progress we wanna see from the Iranian national team in the future. Then discussing what are the next big steps in the careers of Sardar Azmoun, Mehdi Taremi, and Amir Abedzadeh. Mehdi Taremi had a sensational first season with FC Porto which included goals in the Champions League against Juventus and Chelsea. Sardar Azmoun was named Russian League player of the season after winning the Russian League with FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. Then we wrap up by seeing what is next for Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Alireza Beiranvand as their big dream transfers after the 2018 World Cup haven't gone to plan with a massive lack of playing time for them. In this podcast, I was joined by Manchester United supporter Utd Henry to preview the Europa League Final. We discussed Manchester United's season finishing in second place in the Premier League and reflecting on results throughout the campaign. Then we reflect on all of Manchester United's new acquisitions/signings this season, Dean Henderson, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, Amad Diallo, and Edison Cavani. Giving special praise to the Uruagian striker for playing a big role for Manchester United this season. There seems to be a massive divide in the Manchester United fan base whether the club should keep or sell Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba. Anthony Martial has had a very poor season with only 4 goals & 3 assists in 22 matches. While there is lots of baggage with Paul Pogba as his agent Mino Raiola consistently speaks out that Paul Pogba isn't gonna stay at Manchester United. Henry then begins to give massive credit to how well Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been this season and is in full support of him as the Manchester United manager moving forward.
