Thanks for tuning in to another edition of the Next in Line Podcast, brought to you by the RFK Refugees Network. This week, we break down a recent run of results, most notably the 3-0 loss to Tulsa on the road. We talk about the "good, the bad, and the ugly" from that match and then do a little preview of some upcoming matches and names to watch out for while you watch them (pretty much a third of the El Salvador National Team).
Thanks always for your support and tuning in!
Loudoun took on the top 2 teams in the USLC, and as everyone expected, they...emerged with 4 points. We honor the Loudoun players who perished in training and gave their spirits to the young gods of Segra Field so their team would prosper against mighty foes. After an early recap of the team's performance, Adam M adjusts expectations for new DCU Academy players getting reps with either Loudoun or DCU this year, even as more of them are growing into talented prospects. Finally, a brief update on the Baltimore soccer stadium and a preview of coming matches.

Happy 2023! Adam M. does a quick recap of new Loudoun signings and a couple of DC United draft picks and goalies who might be seen in a red-and-white kit this season. After that, news about a possible change at the top for Loudoun United FC's Front Office, then attempting to untangle the web of news and rumors about a potential soccer stadium in Baltimore and what it could mean for Loudoun (the team) and Loudoun (the county) if it comes to fruition in the future. Hope to see you at the season opener in March!
Loudoun United might be out of the playoffs but at least they won't be "winning" the Wooden Spoon this year. The team took fliers on a few obscure players, and is saying goodbye to a few youths as they go on their way to playing under bigger spotlights in DC and abroad. Also, a new season begins for the DC United Academy, with a handful of players to keep an eye on and one name that may bring you some nostalgia.
Adam M does a solo pod to talk about several standouts from the DCU Academy system this year, with emphasis on Kristian Fletcher and the MLS Next U-16 champs. Followed by a quick rundown of many players that have taken the pitch for Loudoun this year, some of whom have been signed to DC on a temporary or permanent basis. Then capped off with news that Loudoun is staying in the USLC after all.
