All we have to do is live long enough to discover that life also comes with pain and regret. This Sunday we'll look at how God sustains us through times of loss and grief. And we'll find that God is enough, and that what we need most, God gives us freely.

    How to deal with grief
This week we're talking about grief and how as Christians, we are not exempt from pain, suffering, and loss. These experiences are universal. We go through them whether we trust in Jesus, deny him entirely, or worship some other form of god. So this Sunday we speak to those who mourn, to those who grieve, to those who have suffered great loss. You've either gone through it yourself or you know someone who is in that situation, so bring a friend or loved one along. --Edwin

  • A story of hope and struggle - Audio
    story of struggle and hope
    Hi Family!
Life has a way of knocking the wind out of us. Sometimes it's a loss we didn't see coming. Sometimes it's a door that closes unexpectedly. Sometimes it's simply the weight of carrying more than we think we can bear. Yet I've learned that some of God's greatest work happens in the seasons we would never choose for ourselves.
This Sunday, Pastor Chris will share a timely message about how God meets us in our struggles, strengthens us through life's challenges, and builds a hope that can withstand even the hardest seasons.
We will also celebrate a very special baptism as someone publicly declares their faith in Jesus Christ and takes their next step in following Him. There is always something powerful about witnessing a life transformed by the grace of God.
If you've been discouraged, weary, questioning, or simply trying to hold it all together, I believe this service will encourage your heart and remind you that God is still at work—even when you can't see it. We meet at 10 a.m. at 360 Schermerhorn St. Bring a friend, bring a family member, and come expectant. God may have exactly what you need. --Edwin
