God can still be on your side when you go through hell. God promises you in his word that you don't have to be sick or be poor. But he doesn't promise that you won't go through hard times. Christ can give you the strength to get through anything no matter what you face. You have to keep pushing forward. You are deeply loved by Jesus even when you haven't done anything to deserve it. You're special to God!
