Long snapper Patrick Mannelly the longest-tenured player in Bears history isn't 100 percent sure he'll return, in 2014. The Chicago Bears signed Brandon Harston (LS) to a futures contract after the conclusion of the 2013 season. Harston played his collegiate football at Houston.

Versatility and unselfishness are two words that can describe Rutgers safety Jeremy Deering. With the Scarlet Knight, Deering has played running back, receiver, and eventually safety. He also scored a touchdown rushing, receiving, and return touchdown. I guess add playmaker to his list of abilities too. Deering now enters the next phase of his football life, making his path towards the NFL Draft his May (8). Deering immediately made an impact at Rutgers appearing in all 12 games as a true freshman and finished as the team's second leading rusher with 352 yards as a quarterback in the Wildcat package. His sophomore season, Deering made the move from wide receiver to running back in spring drills. Deering also became the teams kick returner, returning 17 kicks for 530 yards and one touchdown. His numbers led the Big East and ranked fourth nationally with 31.2.

At first it likely seemed an awful thing. McDaniel got hurt and missed nearly a year and a half of football at Florida State. He had to redshirt, in 2012. If there was no injury he wouldn't of been there to enjoy the National Championship season. Maybe the Seminoles aren't there is McDaniel had already played out his eligibility. But as fate would have it, he and his teammates shared in the excitement of winning the final BCS National Championship Game. 

  Jacobbi McDaniels was an impact player for deep and talented Florida State defense. McDaniels immediately was up to the task appearing, in all 13 games as a true freshman and making two starts. His career blossomed from there, and even his knee injury, in 2011, didn't stop him from returning to form. McDaniel redshirted, in 2012 and played his final season (championship season) with the Seminoles against Auburn. One of FSU's top defensive tackles who excels at controlling the gap. McDaniel now focuses on the next chapter of his football life. Making it in the National Football League.

Blake Jackson attended Scottsdale CC in Scottsdale, Ariz., and led the team with 62 catches, 934 yards and 16 touchdowns en route to securing first-team All-America honors as a sophomore, in 2011. His 62 catches ranked sixth nationally, his 934 yards were seventh in the nation, and his 16 touchdowns were the third-most in the NJCAA ranks ... Caught 33 passes for 540 yards and nine touchdowns as a freshman, in 2010. Jackson was named 2011 NJCAA first-team All-American, in 2011. Jackson's ability led him eventually to Oklahoma State. As a Cowboy, Jackson finished his first season, in 2012 with 30 catches for 598 yards, and three touchdowns. His final season was interrupted by nagging injuries, kept Jackson from building on his previous years production. Jackson proved to NFL Scouts, that he's worthy of a shot at the next level, getting invited and accepting his invitation to the East West Shrine All-Star Game.

Glenville State had a welcomed addition to the offense, in 2013. Red-shirt freshman Seth Jordan led the team in touchdowns (5), and second for the Pioneers in catches (36) and receiving yards (276). Jordan stops by to discuss the keys to his early success and thoughts moving forward at Glenville State.

Nick Williams transferred from Georgia to North Alabama. Williams is blessed with the rare combination of size, speed and power Williams is enthusiastically waiting to show his natural talents moving forward towards the NFL Draft. Williams put behind him his 2012 knee injury to finish fifth on the team with 62 tackles. He also had five tackles-for-loss and two interceptions. Rosie Nix former MAC Defensive Player of the Year (Freshman) joins the NFL Draft College2Pro.com show. Nix is on his way to play in the Medal of Honor Bowl, in South Carolina. A game where NFL Scouts and coaches will be able to get an up close look at this former Kent State stand out. Kent State senior Roosevelt Nix (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) was one of 22 defensive linemen named to SI.com's 2013 All-America Team.  Earning Honorable Mention, Nix becomes just the second defensive player in program history to earn a spot on an SI.com All-America Team. Earlier this month, Nix became the first player in program history and fifth player in Mid-American Conference history to earn first team all-conference honors in four consecutive seasons.  The two-year team captain earned spots on the Nagurski, Outland and Bednarik Watch lists in three straight seasons and was named to the Senior Bowl Watch List. Nix led the Golden Flashes in tackles for loss (13.0), sacks (3.5) and quarterback hurries (6), despite playing through injuries during much of the season.  He also forced two fumbles, made 41 tackles, broke up five passes and blocked a kick. The only player in league history to be named Mid-American Conference Defensive player of the Year as a freshman, Nix finished as Kent State's career leader in tackles for loss (65.0) and forced fumbles (12).  He also ranks second in career sacks (24.0).

Tyler Sykora from Southern Arkansas is blessed with the size and arm strength. One of the real sleepers in this upcoming NFL Draft class, Sykora leaves SAU as one of their all-time greats. The record books for the Muleriders has Sykora's name at the top of every passing category. With over 9,000 yards passing (9,010) and 82 touchdown passes between 2010/13, Sykora is definitely one to watch moving forward.
