NFL Draft Punk Podcast

The 4 Punks discuss the NFL & College landscape and debate who are the top players on the 2022 draft and how this year's crop of QB's line up against the 2021 class.

We then debate how the AP Top 25 is compiled - which teams are flattered or hard done by with the current system? Can Ted justify picking the Buckeyes in the Top 4?

We then put forward our picks for the Heisman, Bednarik, Doak Walker and Biletnikoff Awards - whose picks are the most surprising? Who are the dark horses?

Moving on to the NFL we then debate which rookies are in the frame for the Rookie of the Year Awards - can anyone challenge Chase?

Finally, Ted's Teasers are particularly difficult - can we see another clean sweep 6 out of 6 this week?

Here it is ladies and gentlemen. The first mock draft episode of the year.

In this weeks episode, we talk about the 'Mutual Termination' of Ed Orgeron's contract at LSU
What went wrong after that 2019 Championship season?
We also talk about the Chiefs season so far. Is there a cause for concern?

Finally, we do our very first mock draft of the year. We tried to draft for team needs or the Best player available. Did we fix your team? We did look back on our Mock draft at this time last season with some surprising players picked early.

We then take a look at the Group of 5 - where do their top QBs stack up against the Power 5? We also highlight some under the radar draft prospects that could make waves on draft night.

Finally, Ted's Tantalising Teasers - can anyone get the clean sweep this week?

Ted takes over the hosting duties this week as we delve into what has been a topsy turvy CFB season so far. We check in on the preseason narratives we believed to be true - how many do we still have faith in and how many are blown out of the water?

We also look at the five unbeaten teams in the NFL and look at the confidence level we have in the Rams, Cardinals, Broncos, Raiders & Panthers - who can sustain the early season success and who are we expecting to fall off a cliff?

Finally Ted's Tantalising Teasers ramp up a notch with the trickiest 6 games to date, and two Punks have to give lone wolf calls with varying degrees of success. Simon Carroll (@nfldraftsi) from thetouchdown.co.uk gives his picks as well.

This week the Draft Punks take a break from prospect talk and discuss some job prospects in College Football & the NFL and apply a unique grading system of panic for the current 0 and 2 teams. We finish up with the 6 teasers for this weekend's College Games. Thanks to Craig @uk_draft for his guest picks this week.
